Tutu dah habis riwayat..

too bad..today marks the end of Tutu's life...yesterday night, mama and papa found out that Tutu dah macam x bergerak..and so..this evening..Arissa, Aryana & papa tanam laaa Tutu...but too bad jugak..mama x sempat nak ambik gambar you guys tanam Tutu..Aryana's remark on her tortoise (Tutu is aryana's)..being dead..is that.."dia x jaga Tutu betul2..." (memang puunnnnn..) hihi.. :)

Sambutan Maulidur Rasul 1433H

on the 19th Feb. 2012..ada sambutan Maulidur Rasul kat Masjid Ar-Rahimah, kat Gombak tu...kita semua join sekali because..kita buat aqiqah untuk Adelia sekali....now that Adelia dah 6 months old..we decided to make her aqiqah as simple as can be..dah sesambil kat masjid kat gombak tu ada orang buat skali aqiqah and sambutan maulidur rasul..tu yg kita pun tumpang sekali..this one nye aqiqah we just ambil one bahagian of the lembu...

with the sambutan..so..ada laa a few activities being done at the masjid...

and Arissa got lucky..that she dapat masuk pertandingan treaure hunt tu..that one..untuk 5-6 years old...at first ingatkan nak masukkan Arissa and Aryana untuk pertandingan mewarna tu..tapi yang mewarna tu untuk 7 years and above..so..both of the girls, x dapat laaa masuk..and too bad also for Aryana that she tak dapat masuk the treasure hunt jugak....bcos activiti kat situ semua untuk 5 years and above...takper laaa, aryana...maybe kalau ada rezeki..next time aryana dah 5 years..boleh laaa join ye...

for the treasure hunt tu...a parent kena join skali ngan the kid...so..papa laa kira partner arissa for the treasure hunt..so..bila abang tu suruh the participants tu masuk..arissa and papa kena duduk kat the sejadah tu..at first mama and aryana nak laa mengendeng kat tepi arissa and papa...skali kena halau..and bila mama ajak aryana keluar..aryana pun..terus laaa nangis..sebab dia pun nak duduk skali dekat ngan papa and kakak..but what to do..kena jugak laa duduk kat tepi2 tu...and when the hunt started...mama tengok arissa punya laaa lari laju jer..mencicit larinya..bersungguh2 dia carik all the things..very determined laa arissa ni..maklum laaa before the event...semua orang dok siap canang..kalau menang dpt hadiah..i guess...she was determined to get the prize...and guess what..she got lucky..and won the 4th prize...(yang dpt hadiah besar, ada 5...yang lain2 dapat consolation prizes)..kira arissa managed to get Top 5..yay! to Arissa...

as for Aryana..takper laaa aryana..it's not your time yet..but mama knows..you'll do excellent as well when the time comes.. :)

this week..mama ada introduce a new taste for Adelia lagi..this time around..mama bagi Adelia makan red rice and green peas...looked like Adelia loved the taste..laju je dia makan...mama rasa..Adelia ni memang suka makan laa..so far..apa saje yang diberi..laju je dia makan..mama pun suka laa kalau camni..leh cuba2 resepi2 lain pulak...

today 12th February 2012...mama just introduced some..not some..just one of cavendish banana..mama just lenyek2 the banana..and suap to Adelia..at first..she took it very slow..but towards the end..she can accept the taste..so..hari ni mama just bagi Adelia makan banana...

mama dah beli some avocados..which mama nak try give to Adelia..dah peram..and ada satu tu time mama kopek..dia rasa macam dah masak laaa..and mama pun dah steam n pureed...but belum lagi try bagi kat Adelia..but dah save in the freezer..maybe next week nak try give that one pulak...tapi ada satu avocado tu..masa mama kopek tu..dia macam x masak lak lagi..ish...rasa rugi laaa pulak..serious x brp expert laaa mama nak tau which one dah masak or not..orang kata kalau kita tekan2 tu.,.dia lembik..means dah masak..tapi yang satu yang mcm x masak tu, time mama picit rasa macam dah lembik jugak...tapi bila kopek, macam x masak lak...kena try lagi laaa nampak gayanye..

today, mama introduced a new puree for Adelia..which is sweet potato..colour orange..and her acceptance to the puree was good..not too bad..

oohh..mama dah prepare kan adelia these 2 recipes the day before..pear and beetroot...

this time..mama dah prepare some pumpkin puree for Adelia...yet to be tasted by Adelia..somewhere over the weekend, maybe...

Arissa and Aryana 's First Ever Pets..

at last..we decided to let arissa and aryana to have their pets..and we decided that they can have the tortoises for their pets..although..to arissa's point of view of having her pet..is to have a parrot or a bird..because currently her craze is all about Rio the movie...as for aryana..she just follows her sister...

so..on 12th February 2012..we went to the pet shop in Seri Iskandar..but it was like a surprise for the both girls..we didn't go straight away to the shop..but we had some roti canai first at the shop next door to the pet shop..acting like it is like any normal days..when we passed by the pet shop..arissa and aryana had a look at the tortoises which were displayed right in front of the shop..then..arissa being herself whenever she is at any pet shop...saying that when she grows up...she would want to have a bird as her pet..but when mama said..the shop takder birds..so..she just said that she wanted the tortoise...

after we had the roti canai..we went to the pet shop..konon2 macam nak browse je the shop...but when papa said to the girls that they can have the tortoises..muka masing2 so ceria...so..here are the two tortoises..currently..they are named by "Lala" and "Tutu"..tutu is aryana tortoise..which is slightly small and has a darker green..and lala is arissa's tortoise which is bigger and slightly fairer..the shells also have different design...

nak makan nasi?

yes! at last..mama dapat dah beli slow cooker untuk masak nasi Adelia..plus..the red rice..yay!

and now tgh nak masakkan bubur Adelia..ingat hari ni nak buatkan bubur nasi merah plus + carrot + some kurma...

verdict : kurang digemari oleh Adelia..maybe sebab mama terlebih letak kurma..so rasa nye over sweet for her taste..plus..mama tak buang kulit kurma..so..ada rasa kesat2 kulit tu..so..maybe akan mengakibatkan Adelia batuk lak nanti..sorry ye Adelia..next time mama will try better to make bubur nasi for you...

segenggam beras, basuhkan dahulu, then keringkan atas api on the kuali..

then blend the beras and put in the slow cooker for about 3hrs

kurma di steam n di blend (jangan lupa buangkan kulit), kalau tak nak steam pun takper rasanya, boleh lenyek2kan je..and put in the rice

carrot, as usual, puree kan..steam n blend, then masukkan sekali dalam bubur nasi tu

currently..Adelia..at the age almost 6mths..sedang belajar duduk..not only that..dia dah on the merangkak position..and she keeps practising moving her boday back and forth on the merangkak position..and sometimes..while doing that..she pushes herself to the front..that makes her moves ke depan..so kelakar..macam a car trying to start the engine..go Adelia go!

Arissa's headache diary..

yesterday (10 Feb 2012)..she complained of having a headache..on the side of the head..more like near her eyes..and bangun pagi the next morning..she had fever..so..currently..we are still monitoring her..hopefully it is just because of the weather and lack of fluid..because we notice arissa hardly drinks plain water..sampai nak kena suruh and ingatkan baru nak minum air kosong..

:: 8th February 2012 ::

after about a week of not giving solid food to Adelia..today, mama decided to start giving Adelia her solid food, yet again..this time around...mama tried giving Adelia some nectarine puree...and Adelia seems to like it too..like the apple puree...i guess...apples and nectarines are almost the same..they have like a bit of sweet and sour taste...

anyway..today..mama dah make extra puree for Adelia's next consumption...this time around..mama buat puree carrot and nectarine tu...

by this week..mama nak try cari a slow cooker..so that mama can start giving Adelia some rice pulak..mama ingat nak introduce Adelia to red rice laaa..since everyone is talking that the red rice is healthier..so i guess..biler ada that slow cooker..senang sket nak masak bubur...another 2 weeks..mama will need to supply to Adelia's babysitter, her food..so now..mama tengah nak cari termos food jar sekali...

Arissa's birthday bash at Tadika Dzul Iman

on 11th January 2012...

mama and papa had a little surprise for Arissa...yes, we celebrated her belated birthday at her Tadika Dzul Iman..arissa had been wanting to celebrate her birthday at school for quite some time..but since her birthday is always during the school holiday, so we didn't manage to celebrate her birthday at school...so since the year 2012 is her last year at the tadika...mama and papa decided to make her wish comes true...

we wanted to some sort of doing it as a surprise..even when we bought all the stuffs for her goodie bags..we told her that they were for papa's friends..and i think she believed it...she even helped to put the stuffs in the goodie bags the night before...

on the day..early morning..mama and adelia dah kena pegi ambik her birthday kek...which mama ordered from someone in Ipoh..and here how's the cake looked like...

it was 'angry birds' theme..at the moment, it was her favourite characters

so..about 9am...mama dah sampai balik ke tadika tu..biler sampai situ je..aryana dah nampak mama..but she buat biasa je..though muka aryana macam pelik je tengok mama ada kat situ...lama jugak laaa mama duduk kat situ..tunggu habis assembly tu..then there was a time when semua students kena pusing belakang..then..baru laaa nampak arissa..and she also baru terperasan yang mama dia ada kat situ..siap mouthing the word 'mama' lagi..haha..very funny looking at her face at the time..memang muka surprise laaa tengok mama nye ada kat situ...

then..dah habis the assembly..we had a little celebration for arissa birthday..it was very simple and i know arissa memang enjoyed the moment...which mama is glad..and because of that..mama wouldn't mind all the troubles just to make my Danias happy..(mama siap ambik cuti satu hari tu)...

this is mama's first try of homemade ice cream...ice cream milo.. :: credits to mama's ex-uni friend; siti sina ::

the step is very simple...
a cup of coffeemate
a cup of fresh milk
1/2 bottle of essence vanila
after 1st time blend just to mix it , put the mixture in the freezer for 2hrs
then blend again,this time until the mixture gets fluffy, this time blend can put some sugar to taste

this recipe, mama gets it from chef wan's all about chicken recipe..

the first cough..

..adelia has been coughing for quite sometime..since friday (27th Jan. 2012)..up until to date (1st Feb)..she's still coughing..so..for the time being mama has stopped giving her her food..just purely BM for her..hopefully she'll get speedy recovery...

..this was the day..when mama introduced Adelia's to her first solid food..which is apple puree...

supposedly...it was not yet Adelia's time to eat..cos she's just about 5mths++..but mama wanted her to taste a bit..since dia dah macam terkecap2 je biler tgk org makan..so..mama decided to puree some apples..and at first she was not used to it..but after some time...laju je dia makan...seronok je tengok Adelia makan...
